Depending on what John finds, he may use moisture mapping, thermal imaging, borescopes, cavity investigation, or a closer evaluation of basements, attics, HVAC equipment, ductwork, and other relevant areas.
Mold testing may also be recommended when it can answer a specific question.
The goal is not to test every room or assume every discoloration is mold. It is to gather enough evidence to understand where the concern is coming from and what makes sense to investigate further.
